We have been part of the yoga world for over a decade now, providing high end facilities and experiences for yoga teachers from all over the world who host their retreats with Aegialis. As we continued to explore new ways to offer more custom made, beautiful retreat experiences for yogis worldwide, SeaRock was developed and created for YOU.
Practice in peace and joy in the custom made, unique geodesic dome, Rashmi, overlooking the deep blue sea. The name comes from the Sanskrit word “Ray of light” which reflects the bright atmosphere of the yoga shala. Rashmi is fully equipped with yoga props and our shala administrator will ensure the daily set up is done according to your needs and the look you wish to create for your group.

The SeaRock restaurant caters for all your dietary needs, with your own private chef on the property and our friendly team who is there to ensure your stay here is smooth and joyful. My fave retreat location! I am about to lead my 4th yoga retreat at Aegialis, and cannot say enough about the beauty of the yoga studios, the unreal views, the incredible staff, and of course the magic of the island! The world is so big, and I usually don't re-visit locations, but I fell in love with Amorgos and Aegialis and have been back every year since! The food is so delish that I compare every meal all year long to the amazing fresh food of Aegialis, too! The local fish, the raw honey, the unbelievable olive oil! It's heaven! Highly recommend that you visit!

A deposit amount is required to be paid in order to secure the booking.
No other groups will be here at the same time due to the one shala being provided. There might be some individual guests. Please check with our team upon your booking. The complex is spacious and all services provided are of high quality.

The uniquely designed and custom made yoga pod at SeaRock welcomes you to an enchanting experience of tranquility and peace. Overlooking the deep blue Aegean sea and surrounded by the Amorgian nature, the Rashmi geodesic dome has been especially built to provide a space of calm and plentiful inspiration for yoga and meditation sessions. As its Sanskrit name suggests, “Ray of light”, the Rashmi geodesic dome offers a spacious, circle of light, joy and beauty, to provide you with a gentle and soft atmosphere for your yoga practice facing the crystal clear sea. Aside from its unique structure, Rashmi welcomes you and your yoga retreat group to enjoy exclusivity, having it as your own private yoga shala for the duration of your stay here.
With a built-in air conditioning system, and magical views, the Rashmi geodesic dome offers all necessary yoga props and lots of space to move with ease and breathe in the good Amorgian energy. This beautiful space can fit comfortably up to 25 mats as you explore different set ups for your yoga classes. The dome is made of transparent Clear PET PVC material, which means you have an all around clear view of all the beautiful surroundings Amorgos has to offer here.
We provide top quality yoga equipment including cork mats and yoga blocks, yoga straps, blankets, eye pillows, yoga wheels, bolsters. We can also organise candles, Tibetan chimes and small sound bowls, meditation gong as well as some fitness equipment if required (swiss balls, small fitness balls, resistance bands)
Yes, this happens often and we love it when guests want to extend their stay. Please advise our bookings team in advance to ensure there is availability for your desired dates, as special rates are offered for this occasion, always depending on availability.
All packages vary depending on each group’s needs. Please organize your package with our bookings team, and specify how many meals per day you would like. We also offer activities around the island can also be organized for your group at an extra cost, depending on number of attendees and type of activity. The payment plan is customized for each retreat upon consultation with our team.
Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted.
For cancellations, specific dates are mentioned in order to allow teachers to release rooms without any cancellation fees to apply. This can be discussed with our bookings team.
TRAVEL & ISLAND
Usually arrival and departure transfers in Amorgos are included in your package. In case you would like any other transfers on the island during your stay, it will be our pleasure to send you costs, as per your request.
As the easternmost island of the Cycladic region, Amorgos can only be reached by boat. There are two ports on the island, Aegiali and Katapola. Ferries depart from Athens or/and from other islands, depending on the season, as from end of May to end of September, more ferry connections are available. Schedule of the ferries can be found online: www.openseas.gr and both ports have to be chosen in order to find all options.
Depending on season, the weather in Amorgos can vary, but generally it is quite mild.
March-May is the spring season, expect some sunshine and light breeze.
June-September the weather is usually very hot, lots of sunshine and pool/beach days.
October – end of November is the fall season. The sun can still be around and the weather gets cooler as the temperature begins to drop.
End November- End February -is the winter season, lovely and peaceful in the island, cooler days and some rain.
ACCOMMODATION
Different room types are provided. Our packages are based on Family Sea & Pool View Room type but in case someone would like to have a different room option, we are happy to provide, always depending on availability (in this case, package’s cost will change)
Yes, our guests can enjoy complimentary WI-FI at the SeaRock premises.
At SeaRock, we are a family friendly hotel and children are welcome. Please advise our bookings team at the time of your reservation, in order to inform you about available room types and costs.
Yes, we do. Cost depends on the age of the child and the times that you would like services to be provided.
Yes, at Lalon Idor Spa complex located at Aegialis Hotel & Spa we provide a variety of beauty and wellness body treatments with our highly qualified spa team. Bookings can be made prior or during your stay at SeaRock at additional cost.
On some occasions we can allow space for pets, however this needs to be arranged at the time of your booking. Kindly note that pets are not allowed in the restaurant area and at the Rashmi yoga pod. The medical booklet is needed in any case and pet has to be on its leash when being outside of the room.
All the Aegialis Searock rooms are smoke free, however if you wish to smoke outside on your private balcony or veranda, you may do so. Alcoholic beverages are served at the restaurant and outdoor bar also, but you can order in your room as well.
FOOD
Usually we offer a Half Board plan, which means breakfast and dinner daily. But Full Board option (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is offered as well. Everything depends on your needs.
At Aegialis Searock Restaurant we offer a variety of foods, including vegetarian and vegan. We can also cater for different dietary preferences and allergies. Please advise our bookings team at the time of your booking if you have any specific dietary requirements.
Yes we serve both. There is a variety of herbal teas available and we have a wonderful barista team who make delicious coffee. Prices are outlined on the menu or you can ask one of our friendly staff.
Yes, we can certainly accommodate your dietary preferences. Our restaurant offers an abundance of fresh food and locally grown vegetables with a tasty traditional Greek menu. If you have a specific dietary requirement, please advise our bookings team in advance so our resident chef can prepare your meal to suit your needs.
